Create Home Base Directory
We recommend you create a directory that will serve as a "home base" for these installation procedures. When you download software, copy it to this directory as a central repository. For our examples here we are using the directory "opsinstall".
Install Prerequisite Software
Before downloading and installing OpsWise Automation Center, install the following prerequisites :
Download OpsWise Components
OpsWise components are packaged and stored on the OpsWise download server as follows:
- The core processor is packaged in a single .war file, which is the same for all platforms.
- The outboard components comprise the agent, message hub and transporter. These components are different for each platform.
For download instructions, click here.
Install and Verify the OpsWise Core
The OpsWise core processor is a Java application running within Apache Tomcat. For this reason, the core software and installation procedure is basically the same for all platforms.
