Creating OpsWise Groups

In this exercise, we will create two hypothetical OpsWise groups: Tech Support and Operations. Hint: Do not confuse OpsWise groups with Security Groups. OpsWise groups are used to group records into business functions; Security groups are used to assign permissions to groups of users.

  1. Scroll down the navigation pane and select Opswise Groups.
  2. Click New.
  3. In the Name field, type Tech Support.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. Repeat the above steps for a group called Operations.
